Oh Christmas! You are Coming Near.

People are now very exhausted buying and wrapping gifts, thinking for the best foods to prepare during Noche Buena, and making the best program during parties that they will be hosting. Christmas is coming in just 5 (five) more days.

Most people are now making their last minute shopping of gifts for their godchildren and many children are done with their Christmas parties and are now enjoying their Christmas vacation. Some people (like me) who doesn't have Christmas vacation are wishing to have a break even a day or two just to celebrate the Filipino Christmas.

It is nice to hear the church bells ringing early in the morning for the Misa de Gallo. People go to church to attend mass and this is the 9 day novena making the countdown of the birth of Jesus.

Puto bumbong, bibingka, hot chocolate, tea and hot coffee- these are the best part of Misa de Gallo, or Simbang Gabi. Food is really one of the best part of being a Filipino. We come together and feast with lots of food being prepared and enjoyed by many.

Gift giving is one of the highlights of Christmas celebration most especially for little children. They are expecting Santa Claus to come into their house and leave a present underneath their Christmas tree. They also prepare Christmas socks into where Santa can also drop their gifts.

People are also looking forward to Christmas carolers that will sing in front of their house during Christmas. It is very relaxing to hear Christmas carols in the air.

Christmas is only 5 days away. People are now making their very best to make this Christmas one of the best holidays of the year. And for Filipinos, Christmas is the time to spend more moments with their loved ones.

Let us all celebrate a fruitful Christmas this year. Have a Merry Christmas to all and wishing you a very Happy and Prosperous New Year ahead! :)
